Learn how to create and assign booking fees in AcornCloud — perfect for linking weekly or monthly fees to children’s bookings for accurate billing.
Open the Booking Fee ScreenFrom the left-hand menu, go to Finance → Booking Fee.
Tap New Booking Fee to create one.
Create a New Booking FeeEnter a Booking Fee Name (e.g. 5 Days Full-Time, 3 Days Part-Time).
Choose whether the fee will be billed Weekly or Monthly.
Tap Add Booking Fee to save it.
Find the Child You Want to Assign It ToUse the search bar or filter by room to locate the correct child.
Assign the Booking FeeTap Assign New.
From the dropdown, select the Booking Fee you want to apply.
Add Fee DetailsAdd the Start Date and End Date.
Choose the Billing Frequency (Weekly or Monthly).
Tap Add Booking Fee to save.
Best Practice TipsName your booking fees clearly to avoid confusion (e.g. Full-Time – 5 Days, Part-Time – 3 Days).
Ensure the billing frequency matches your invoicing setup for consistency.
Update or remove old booking fees promptly when a child’s schedule changes.
You can view or manage assigned booking fees anytime from the Finance → Booking Fee screen.
