Learn how to customise the Public Application Form and control which sections and fields appear in each Child Profile. This lets you tailor the information you collect from parents and what staff see day to day.
Open ApplicationsFrom the menu on the left, go to Directory → Applications.
Click on Profile Form at the top right to customise the form.
Review Profile SectionsYou’ll now see a list of all sections and fields linked to child profiles.
Any section shown here can be customised to suit your service’s needs.
Control VisibilityThe eye icon controls whether a section is visible inside the Child Profile for staff.
Eye on → section is visible
Eye off → section is hidden from staff
The “Show in Enquiry Form” checkbox controls whether the field will be visible on the Application Form.
Add Fields or ContentTap Add Field or Add Content within a section.
New items will appear at the bottom of the section.
Edit Field DetailsClick the small arrow beside a field to expand it.
From here, you can adjust labels, field types, and other settings.
Save Your ChangesOnce you’re happy with your layout, tap Update to save.
What Happens NextAny section with the eye icon turned off will no longer appear in child profiles.
Any section marked Show in Enquiry Form will now appear on your Public Application Form.
Best Practice TipsKeep your Public Application Form simple — only show fields families truly need to complete.
Regularly review which sections are marked “Show in Enquiry Form” to ensure compliance with your service’s privacy policy.
Use required fields wisely — only make essential ones mandatory.
