Room staff can quickly check children in and out each day from the Room Lounge. This keeps your attendance records up to date and helps managers and parents see who’s in care at any moment.
Check Children InFrom the All tab of the Room Lounge, tap the portraits of all the children you want to check in.
Tap Mark Present at the bottom of the screen.
Update Arrival DetailsIn the popup window:
Adjust the time at the top left to match when most children arrived.
Use Check-In or Absent buttons under each child’s name to mark attendance
(Optional) Use the dropdown on the right to record who dropped the child off
Parents can add collectors from their parent portal
Tap Confirm when you’re done
Update Check-In DetailsTap the book & pen icon under a child’s portrait to update their check-in record
From here, you can:
Add a note
Tap Attendance to edit details like arrival time or notes
Leave check-out fields blank if the child is still in care
Tap Update Attendance to save changes
Check Children OutTo check children out, select their portraits again (same as check-in)
Tap Check Out at the bottom of the screen
Update Departure DetailsAdjust the leaving time at the top left of the popup
(Optional) Tap the checkbox next to the child name column to bulk-select all
Use the dropdown list to record who collected each child if needed
Tap Confirm to check them out
Best Practice TipsUse the Absent option for children not attending that day to keep records complete.
Add notes for anything unusual (e.g. late drop-off, early collection) — it helps with reporting later.
