Create, copy, or update staff schedules directly in AcornCloud. This feature lets you quickly add repeating or once-off shifts, assign rooms, and manage break times β all in one place.

Access the Staff Screen
From the left-hand menu, go to Schedule β Staff.
Find the staff member you want to schedule.
Add Bulk ShiftsClick the plus icon below the staff memberβs name to bulk add shifts.
Select:
Days of the week the schedule runs on
Start and end dates for the shift period
Shift start and end times
Room the shift is assigned to
Add break times if needed.
When finished, tap Create Staff Schedule to save.
Add Once-Off ShiftsTo add a single shift (for example, to cover an absence), tap the plus icon in the specific day column.
Enter:
Shift start and end times
Assigned room(s)
Optional comment
Break times (if applicable)
Tap Create Staff Schedule to save your once-off shift.
Copy a Previous Weekβs ScheduleYou can now quickly reuse a previous schedule instead of creating one from scratch.
Tap Staff Schedule at the top left of the scheduling table.
Select Copy from Previous Week.
In the pop-up:
Choose the week to copy from and the week to copy into.
Select the staff members to include.
Choose which days of that week to copy over.
Click Create Staff Schedule to finalise.

Best Practice TipsUse Bulk Add for long-term rosters.
Use Once-Off Shifts for temporary changes or cover shifts.
Always review break times for accuracy before saving.
If staff follow recurring schedules, use Copy from Previous Week to save time.
