Here’s how to record observations for children in your room and keep everything clear, accurate, and easy to follow up on.

Select ChildrenTap the portraits of the children you want to include in the observation.
Choose Activity TypeTap Activity at the bottom of the screen.
From the list at the top, select Observation.
Update the time to when the activity actually happened.
Add or remove children from the drop-down menu if needed.
Tap Next when you’re ready.
Add Observation DetailsAdd a title and description for the observation.
The newest observation model is applied automatically.
Add your aims as required (these apply to all selected children).
To include photos, tap the Media box and select the images.
*Photos are saved to every selected child’s record.
Submit and ReviewTap Submit to log the observation for all selected children.
Observations will appear under the Children View tab.
Tap on any child’s record to add more details individually.
Adding Individual NotesIn a child’s profile, you can add personal notes such as concerns.
Example: “Joe is struggling with a possible speech delay.”
Mark sensitive notes as Hidden from parents if they’re not ready to be shared yet.
Tracking and ReportsUse the Timeline View tab to see detailed observation reports.
Parents will see their own version in the portal (without any hidden notes).

Use clear, short titles and descriptions for easy tracking.
Keep sensitive info hidden until it’s the right time to share.
Review observations regularly to monitor progress and follow up.
