Here’s how to record when a child has been given medicine, along with the details parents (and staff) may need later.
Select ChildrenFrom the All screen, tap the portraits of the children receiving medicine.
Once they’re selected, tap the Activity button at the bottom of the screen.
From the pop-up, set the activity to Medicine.
Record the DetailsDouble check that the time matches when the child actually received the medicine.
Decide whether to set the activity as private (this hides it from the parent portal until you update it later).
Each field has a Visible to parents toggle, so you can choose which details parents can or can’t see.
Manage Drop-Down OptionsIf you need to add new medicines or details:
Tap the Manage drop-down options button under the relevant field.
Add your item, then save — it will be available next time.
Collect SignaturesStaff or parents can sign directly on the tablet in the form.
Signatures can also be collected later from the Reminders section or from the Activities Timeline.
If a parent hasn’t signed yet, use the Add Parent Signature button at the bottom of the form to add their signature when you see them in person.
Reviewing Medicine RecordsMedicine activities appear in Children View, Timeline View, and on the Reminders Page (if signatures are pending).
In Timeline View, you can use the Display dropdown to filter only medicine records, which helps keep things tidy.
Best PracticesAlways record medicine at the exact time given.
Use the private option if details need to be reviewed before sharing with parents.
Make sure signatures are collected promptly for compliance.
